One of the most important aspects of getting the best travel deals is to look at the right places and based on our
own experiences and personal preferences, here's are the the sites below that we strongly recommend you to start
your research plans from.
They are not particurlarly listed in any particular order as all of them
are very good for getting the best deals for almost any travel vacations for any traveller's whim and
fancy.
1) Info Hub
This is one of the largest special interest travel website on the
Internet with over 14,000 truly unique vacations in 150 destinations around the world. Specially famed for its over
100 special interest and unique vacation activities such as adventure, outdoor, sport, culture, learning, wildlife
& eco-tourism, spiritual, hobby, affinity, etc.
Forbes Magazine called this site “Outstanding variety of activities – that
most people wouldn't even know existed – explained in great detail."
What we like about the site is truly its wide array of special theme trips
and its global coverage. The site also has a forum for members interested in these activities and even the more
exotic ones such as hunting, eco-tours and wildlife, and others.
The best way to use the site is to look over the wide arrays of activities
and simply request for free brochures of any or all activities that you want. It’s that simple.
With the free colourful brochures sent direct to your homes (with no
obligations at all), you could do further research or simply accumulate the info to decide on the actual vacation
activities you want.
Get the free brochures from Info Hub without hassle (click the link
below) and then only decide.
2. Real Adventures
This is one of those great sites that we personally use for research and
information gathering as it offers almost all sorts of niche vacations under the sun. Note that Real Adventures is
not a travel agent or tour operator and it does not book any trips, make reservations or lead
tours.
However, it offers and helps actual travel companies market their products
and services on-line to a very large and diverse audience of travelers, vacationers and adventure seekers (if you
are a travel provider, you should advertise on the site or be included in their directory). You simply click on the
activities and vacations you are interested in and you will be led to a list of vacation providers at your
disposal. In a way, it’s a massive directory to find almost anything that’s will appeal to almost any traveller’s
whim and taste.
From budget to luxury, from serene to extreme and from the Arctic to the tropics, this site has
everything. Yes, from romantic bed & breakfasts to luxury vacation rentals, from bungee jumping to safaris, and
from Alaska to Zimbabwe, Real Adventures says it is a comprehensive resource for travelers around the world.
We couldn’t agree more and we love the site for doing research and looking for exactly all sorts of those niche
vacation providers. It gets a 10/10 from us.
3) Viator
Viator is another travel site that we highly recommend because of its
wide scope of reach of over 75 countries with over 4,500 destination activities in over 450 cities. Again, you
could use the site as a one-stop-shop for researching, planning, and booking destination activities and because of
its wide coverage, it can offer a variety of holiday packages at great discounted prices. In fact,
Viator works and supplies to a large number of the bigger major online travel agencies, airlines, hotel
groups, etc such as Lonely Planet, Travelocity, etc.
Unlike many destination sites that aggregate content from various sources,
note that Viator is not a paid listing or advertising site. Viator's activities are provided by reputable local
operators that are sourced and selected by the company's in-house travel experts, who apparently routinely review
and validate their activities for quality of experience, overall value and superior service to Viator customers.
If you are looking for a list of almost any types of excursions under the
sun for global destinations, we strongly recommend that you tried out the site’s various holiday/tour packages or
at least them for a base for further research.
