What it simply means is that including two destination cities within a trip on a major airline usually adds just another US$100-US$150 more to the typical non-refundable, round-trip, one destination ticket – hence lowering your actual airfare cost provided that you have to stay in one of those two cities over a Saturday night (for the US market).

As such, you will be able to extract some savings effectively getting an economy or first class cheap flights airfares.

When you book fares in such itinerary, the cost of the ticket will be based on the most expensive destination.
